Ambassador highlights new phase of Azerbaijan-Bangladesh cooperation
A new phase of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bangladesh has commenced following consultations between their Foreign Ministries.
Amanul Khag, the new Bangladesh ambassador to Türkiye and Azerbaijan, disclosed significant development in an interview with local media, per Caliber.Az.
Khag expressed his intention to soon present his credentials to the President of Azerbaijan upon his arrival in Baku.
During his recent visit to Baku for the inaugural political consultations between Azerbaijan and Bangladesh, Khag emphasized discussions that placed special emphasis on enhancing political, economic, trade, and humanitarian relations:
"Concrete areas of cooperation have been identified. The highly productive consultations are expected to yield significant results, marking the beginning of a new era of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bangladesh."
It is noteworthy that the Bangladesh Ambassador to Azerbaijan will once again operate from Türkiye, where the embassy was previously based until 2021, after which operations were managed from Iran.
