Azerbaijani MPs engage in international observations OSCE conference in Warsaw, referendum in Kazakhstan
Member of Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament) Ramil Hasan is set to participate in the OSCE Human Dimension Conference, currently underway in Warsaw, Poland.
The conference, which started on September 30 and runs until October 11, focuses on critical issues concerning human rights and fundamental freedoms across the OSCE region, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Participants will engage in discussions aimed at enhancing human rights conditions among member states.
Meanwhile, another delegation of Azerbaijani MPs, including Musa Guliyev, Chairman of the Labour and Social Policy Committee, Aydin Mirzazada, Anar Mammadov, Elman Nasirov, Azar Badamov, and Mushvig Mammadli, has arrived in Astana, Kazakhstan.
This visit, confirmed by the Milli Majlis, is to observe a referendum scheduled for October 6, which will address the construction of nuclear power plants in the country.
MPs Guliyev, Mirzazada, and Mammadov will focus on monitoring the referendum, while Nasirov, Badamov, and Mammadli will participate in an observation mission organized by the Organisation of Turkic States.
The MPs aim to assess the level of preparation for the referendum and will closely monitor voter turnout and the vote counting process on election day.
