Austrian auction to sell antique Azerbaijani carpets Caliber.Az on YouTube

Ancient Azerbaijani carpets will be sold at an antique items auction in Austria next month.

A total of 282 oriental carpets, antique items, and vintage handicrafts from the Caucasus, Central Asia, Anatolia, India, and China will be auctioned.

Azerbaijani carpets are expected to catch broader interest given the country's status as one of the world's most ancient centres of the carpet-weaving industry and unique techniques of weaving multiple sorts of carpets, rugs, and kilims.
