Azerbaijan allocates over $4 million for overhaul of Alat-Astara-Iran border road

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on measures to overhaul a section of the Alat-Astara-Iran border highway.

According to the decree, the president has allocated 7 million manats ($4,117,647) to the State Agency of Highways for the overhaul of the road section from 217 kilometres to 243 kilometres from the reserve fund of the president envisaged in the state budget for 2023, Caliber.Az reports per the official website of the head of state.
