Azerbaijan established jubilee medal to honor National Leader's birth anniversary

The jubilee medal "100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev (1923-2023)" has been established in Azerbaijan.

Caliber.Az reports, citing the presidential press service, that President Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant law on April 26.

According to the document, the medal will be awarded for special merits in the study and promotion of the heritage of national leader Heydar Aliyev, for special merits in the state building of the Republic of Azerbaijan, including in the national liberation movement; for merits in the implementation of the idea of Azerbaijanis, strengthening the solidarity of Azerbaijanis in the world; for merits in strengthening peace and friendship between peoples and development of international cooperation; for merits in the socio-economic, scientific, technical and cultural development of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and for fruitful activities in public administration and the socio-political sphere.
