The Azerbaijani mini-football team has played in the final of the European Championship in Slovakia.

As azerisport.com reports, Elshad Guliyev's team met with Romanian national team and won 1:0, becoming European champion.

Previously, these teams played each other in the opening round of the group stage. In that meeting, Azerbaijan lost to Romania (0:2).
