Azerbaijan Judo Federation president wins key position in International Judo Federation

President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF) Rashad Nabiyev has been elected to the Executive Committee of the International Judo Federation (IJF).
The election took place during the IJF Congress held in Budapest, Hungary, which gathered representatives from national federations, continental unions, and the worldwide judo community, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
At the Congress, the new Executive Committee for the 2025–2029 term was confirmed, with Nabiyev winning a seat following the vote. In addition, longtime IJF President Marius Vizer was re-elected for a sixth term, securing his leadership of the federation for the next four years.
