Arsenal, Real Madrid circle Haaland as questions grow over Man City future

Football giants Arsenal and Real Madrid have set their sights on Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland, with both clubs contacting his representatives over a potential transfer, sources have told Football Insider.

The interest from both clubs comes amid media reports of potentially serious consequences for Manchester City in the case involving alleged breaches of the English Premier League’s financial rules.

According to the sources, under normal circumstances, signing Haaland would require a huge financial outlay. However, if the case develops in the most unfavorable way for Manchester City, the club could agree to sell the Norwegian forward for a significantly more affordable fee.

It was previously reported that Haaland could consider leaving Manchester City if the team were relegated from the Premier League as a result of the financial case.

The Norwegian striker’s contract with the English club runs until 2034.
