Mercedes driver targets recovery at Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Mercedes driver and Formula 1 championship leader Kimi Antonelli is hoping to make up significant ground at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix after qualifying 16th for Saturday’s race, on September 26.

Antonelli said he had learned from the mistake that affected his qualifying performance and was confident his Mercedes had the pace to move up the field, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

"I made a mistake yesterday, but I learned from it. There will be opportunities to make up ground today, as our car is fast. I hope I can gain many positions," he said.
