Oliver Bearman forced to end second practice at Azerbaijan GP UPDATED

Haas driver Oliver Bearman was forced to end his participation in the second free practice session at the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix after a problem was detected with his car.

Bearman encountered the issue during the second practice session in Baku on Thursday, bringing his running to an early end, domestic media reported.

The second free practice session began at 16:00 local time on Thursday. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will conclude with the race on September 26.

Racing Bulls driver Arvid Lindblad has crashed into the barriers during the second free practice session at the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku, bringing out the red flag and temporarily halting the session.

According to Report, the incident occurred during the second practice session on Thursday. Lindblad lost control of his Racing Bulls car and hit the barriers.

The crash prompted race officials to suspend the session under red-flag conditions.

Lindblad had finished eighth in the opening practice session earlier on Thursday, with a lap of 1:46.601. Mercedes driver George Russell topped the session ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.

The second free practice session was scheduled to run from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time on Thursday. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will conclude with the main race on Saturday, September 26.
