FIFA chief lands in Azerbaijan ahead of U-15 football event

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has arrived in Azerbaijan ahead of the upcoming U-15 World Cup and Festival in Baku.

The Azerbaijan Football Federations Association (AFFA) confirmed Infantino’s arrival in response to an inquiry from local media.

The FIFA chief is visiting Azerbaijan in connection with the tournament, which is scheduled to take place in Baku from October 24 to 30.

Azerbaijan’s U-15 national team has been drawn into Group AF alongside Andorra, Australia, Haiti, Israel, and Timor-Leste.
