Azerbaijani troops to join International “Anatolian Eagle” military drills in Türkiye
Azerbaijani military personnel will take part in the upcoming “Anatolian Eagle” international military exercises to be held in the Turkish city of Konya, according to Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defence.
Speaking at a weekly press briefing, ministry spokesperson Zeki Aktürk confirmed that Azerbaijan would join the drills alongside troops from Türkiye, the United States, Qatar, Hungary, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.
Forces from these countries’ land, naval and air forces are expected to participate.
In addition, Bulgaria, Brazil, Malaysia, Mali and Nigeria will attend the exercises as observer nations.
The joint military drills are scheduled to run from June 23 to July 4 and are part of an ongoing effort to enhance interoperability and cooperation among partner nations.
