2026 EMF Euro: Azerbaijan face Serbia in semi-final showdown

Azerbaijan's national mini-football team will take on Serbia in the semi-finals of the European Championship in Slovakia on June 3, as the side seeks to continue its impressive run in the tournament.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 10:45 p.m. Baku time at Tipos Arena, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Led by head coach Elshad Guliyev, Azerbaijan advanced to the last four after a flawless group-stage campaign in Group F, where the team defeated Austria 1-0, Italy 3-0 and France 3-2.

Azerbaijan then edged Kazakhstan 3-2 in the round of 16 before securing a convincing 5-2 victory over the Czech Republic in the quarter-finals.

The winner of the Azerbaijan-Serbia clash will progress to the final of the competition.

In the other semi-final, Hungary will face Ukraine. That match will begin at 9:15 p.m. Baku time.
