Turkish-Russian boxing match erupts into chaotic mass brawl VIDEO

A boxing tournament in the Turkish city of Trabzon descended into a mass brawl during a bout for the Universal Boxing Organization (UBO) World Championship belt.

Turkish boxer Emirhan Kalkan and Russian fighter Sergei Gorokhov faced each other in the ring. In the third round, a conflict broke out between the athletes, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation,  Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish media. 

The incident soon spread beyond the ring, with members of both teams and spectators joining the fight.

The bout was subsequently stopped. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
