CNN: Iran reopens majority of tunnel entrances at underground missile bases
31 May 2026 23:05
Iran has restored access to most of the underground missile facilities damaged during recent U.S. and Israeli military operations, according to a report by CNN citing satellite imagery analysis.
“CNN found that Iran has now unblocked 50 out of the 69 tunnel entrances struck by the US and Israel at 18 underground missile facilities,” the report states.
Journalists also noted that Iran has repaired other damaged infrastructure, including roads that the United States and Israel had bombed to hinder the use of military facilities. According to CNN, citing satellite imagery analysis, nearly all impact craters from the strikes have now been filled in, with some even repaved with asphalt.
