Azerbaijani official congratulates wrestlers on European championship triumph
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has congratulated the national wrestling team after it won 13 medals at the European Wrestling Championships held in Tirana, Albania.
Sharing a post on X, he said the team has "written another brilliant chapter in history," Caliber.Az reports.

“Thanks to this result, both our national Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling teams became European champions. Our freestyle team achieved its best result in terms of medals won in the past 17 years,” he noted.
The minister sincerely congratulated the athletes, their coaches, and families on this outstanding achievement.
“May Azerbaijani sport continue to shine on the international stage!” Jabbarov wrote.
