Azerbaijan tops world minifootball rankings for first time

The Azerbaijan national minifootball team has climbed to first place in the latest global rankings published by the World Minifootball Federation, marking a historic achievement for the team.

According to information released by the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation and cited by local media, the updated standings place Azerbaijan at the top with 4,085 points. The team, which currently holds the title of world champion, reached the number one position for the first time in its history under the leadership of head coach Elshad Guliyev.

Serbia national minifootball team, the reigning European champion, ranks second with 3,890 points, while Romania national minifootball team occupies third place with 3,385 points.
