Fight night headline locked: Fiziev vs Torres to close UFC Baku card

Azerbaijani fighter Rafael Fiziev will face Mexico’s Manuel Torres in the main event of the UFC tournament in Baku.

The bout will take place in the lightweight division, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Fiziev (13-5), ranked 11th in the division, aims to secure a victory on home soil and move back into title contention. His opponent, Manuel Torres (17-3) from Tijuana, has recorded all his UFC wins by knockout and maintains a 100% finish rate.

In the co-main event, fans will see a middleweight clash between Russian fighter Sharabutdin "Shara Bullet" Magomedov and Brazil’s Michel Pereira, known for his aggressive fighting style.

UFC Fight Night Baku is scheduled for June 27 at the National Gymnastics Arena.
