Azerbaijan sets up Vehicle Recycling Fund

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order “On the establishment of the Vehicle Recycling Fund" as part of the state budget of Azerbaijan.

The "Vehicle Recycling Fund" is established to stimulate and encourage measures, as well as to finance benefits and lump sum payments for the recycling of vehicles, Caliber.Az reports.

The Ministry of Finance and the "Təmiz şəhər" Open Joint Stock Company have been instructed to resolve issues arising from the Order.

The Order will come into force on February 1, 2024.
