Azerbaijan to hold event for entrepreneurs in Shusha, Aghdam

The event entitled “New Opportunities for Entrepreneurs: Let’s Revive Karabakh Together” will be held in Azerbaijan’s Shusha and Aghdam districts on June 27-28.

More than 100 entrepreneurs will attend the event which will be organised by the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry, the ministry told Caliber.Az.

The purpose of the event is to show investment opportunities and business prospects in the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions to the entrepreneurs, as well as discuss the public-private partnership model.

During the visit to Karabakh, entrepreneurs will view the conditions created in the Aghdam Industrial Park, resident enterprises, as well as the ongoing reconstruction and infrastructure work in Shusha and Khankendi cities to revive economic activity and ensure sustainable settlement.

The panel discussions on the benefits and preferences which are applied in the territories liberated from occupation, other measures of state support, and the role of entrepreneurs in the restoration and economic reintegration of these territories will be organised at the event, which will be held in Shusha.

Entrepreneurs will see the investment projects proposed for implementation in these territories, the export potential of products, and logistics opportunities. The Q&A session and G2B meetings (government-to-business) will also be held.
