Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation unveils PACE’s bias
The bias of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) towards Azerbaijan is based on Azerbaijanophobia and Islamophobia.
The PACE’s bias towards Azerbaijan is based on Azerbaijanophobia and Islamophobia, as well as corruption and bribery of European MEPs, Caliber.Az reports citing a statement made by the Executive Committee of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation.
“This decision and the reasons for its adoption are completely baseless. It is a direct continuation of the double standards and biased approach that has been demonstrated towards Azerbaijan for many years. The Azerbaijani society and the international community are aware about the insidious policy of PACE and similar organisations for a long time. The PACE’s activity is practically built on the selfish interests of several states and has become a tool of political pressure,” the Confederation’s document regarding the PACE’s decision not to approve the powers of the Azerbaijani delegation says.
