Azerbaijani Parliament to discuss defence cooperation accord with Georgia
Azerbaijani parliament will ratify the "Agreement on Defence Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia.”
The issue in this regard will be discussed at the meeting of the Defence, Security and Counter-Corruption Committee of the Milli Majlis to be held on September 6, Report informs.
The agenda of the meeting includes a discussion of the following four issues:
1. Report on the work done in the Milli Majlis Defence, Security and Anti-Corruption Committee during the spring and extraordinary sessions of 2023.
2. Draft work plan of the Milli Majlis Committee on Defence, Security and Anti-Corruption for the fall session of 2023/.
3. Draft law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On approval of "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Georgia on cooperation in the field of defence".
4. Draft Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Amendments to the Laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Antimonopoly Activity", "On Protection of Consumer Rights", "On Civil Defence", "On Grain", "On National Security", "On State Secret", "On Preparation and Mobilisation in the Republic of Azerbaijan" and "On Precious Metals and Precious Stones".
