Baku, Ankara discuss creation of "green energy" bridge
Azerbaijan and Türkiye have Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has met with Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar to discuss the creation of a "green energy" bridge through Nakhchivan.
Minister Shahbazov made a post on his X account in this regard, Report informs.
We discussed with Bayraktar, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the brotherly country Türkiye, the priorities that will strengthen our strategic energy partnership in the fields of natural gas supply and green energy. We reviewed our activities for enlarging TANAP, supplying gas to Türkiye and Europe, constructing Igdir-Nakhchivan pipeline, building a green energy bridge via Nakhchivan, and synchronizing the energy sistems,” Shahbazov posted.
