Chinese president calls for enhanced strategic capabilities in missile forces
Xi Jinping, Chinese President, chairman of Central Military Commission (CMC), emphasized the urgent need for the military to bolster its strategic capabilities as he toured missile troops.
Xi urged the missile forces to "work tirelessly" to promote the high-quality development of the armed forces, enhance strategic deterrence, and improve real-world combat effectiveness, Caliber.Az reports via Chinese media.
The president underscored the importance of maintaining the absolute leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC) over the military, asserting that the armed forces must strictly adhere to the directives of the CPC Central Committee and the Central Military Commission "at any time and under any circumstances."
Additionally, he called for a thorough investigation into instances of corruption and misconduct among military personnel, insisting on severe penalties for those found guilty.
