Envoy: UK closely cooperates with Azerbaijan on demining operations

British ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld has said that his country is closely cooperating with Azerbaijan in demining operations.

The ambassador made the remarks on his Twitter account, according to Caliber.Az.

The diplomat, who was present for a soccer match among amputee athletes at the Baku Olympic Stadium on April 3, shared the post on social media.

"Watched the game organized by ANAMA and AFFA between teams made up of mine victims. From the stands I felt the love and commitment of the players to the game," Auld stressed.
