Finland calls for tougher sanctions against Russia

Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen has announced the need to strengthen restrictions against Russia due to the conflict in Ukraine.

Valtonen made this statement at the annual meeting of the foreign ministers, Caliber.Az reports citing Gazeta.ru.

“It is also necessary to strengthen the sanctions and improve their effect,” Valtonen added.

The minister noted that the previous restrictions are effective, but it is necessary to tighten the sanctions policy.
