Media: Israel neutralises dozens of Hezbollah fighters
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated approximately 70 fighters from the Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah and struck their infrastructure in Dahieh region, Lebanon at night on October 26.
"During the night, the Israeli Air Force conducted precise strikes based on intelligence against weapons production and maintenance facilities, as well as an arms depot belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organisation in Dahieh, a key stronghold for the group," the IDF said, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Israeli forces targeted around 40 Hezbollah fighters in the Jabalia area and destroyed a significant volume of equipment. Earlier, Hezbollah's deputy secretary-general, Sheikh Naim Qassem, outlined the conditions for halting strikes against Israel.
He stated that the group would cease its attacks on Israel only after the Israeli Defense Forces stop their fire. Otherwise, Qassem warned, Hezbollah would continue extending the range of its assaults within the country.
