Israel dismantles Hamas tunnel, targets Hezbollah in Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have successfully destroyed a Hamas tunnel extending over one kilometer in length, located in the northern Gaza Strip.
The tunnel, situated near Beit Lahiya, was equipped with weapons, a power supply infrastructure, and a railroad for transporting goods, Caliber.Az reports per IDF.
The destruction of the tunnel marks a significant operation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
In a separate development, the Israeli Air Force conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon. Early in the day, fighter jets targeted military facilities on the Jebel Rihan heights, hitting sites used for launching unmanned aerial vehicles.
The strikes specifically targeted bases in Bi'r al Kilab, and Ksarat al-Urush.
