Paris to host 1st IEA-COP29 high-level dialogue

Paris will host the 1st high-level dialogue “International Energy Agency (IEA) - COP29” on May 15, head of the IEA Fatih Birol made a post on his X account.

Birol met with President of COP29, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev, Caliber.Az reports.

“Excellent discussion with COP29 President-Designate Mukhtar Babayev on ensuring successful outcomes in Baku this year and the International Energy Agency (IEA)’s support for countries on new Nationally Determined Contributions,” the post notes.

“Looking forward to hosting our first IEA-COP29 High-Level Dialogue on May 15 in Paris,” Birol posted.
