Russian strike destroys confectionery company Roshen’s warehouse VIDEO
A major Russian strike on Ukraine on the morning of August 27 has destroyed a large logistics warehouse belonging to confectionery company Roshen in the village of Chubynske, Kyiv region, the company has reported.
It said thanks to a timely response to the air raid alert and employees taking shelter, none of the workers were injured.
Ukrainian State Emergency Service units continue to operate at the site.
This is the second attack on Roshen’s logistics facilities since the start of the full-scale hostilities.
In February, the company’s finished-goods warehouse in Yahotyn was destroyed.
The strike destroyed significant quantities of finished products.
Warehouses belonging to the Silpo, Comfy, Fora, Avrora and Dom Igrushek retail chains, as well as Berger Cargo Ukraine, were also hit in the same wave of strikes.
In Kharkiv, the last operating Epicentr hypermarket was hit.
