Telegram founder nominated for Nobel Prize Amid arrest

Rector of the Eurasian International University Konstantin Klimenko has officially nominated Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram, for the Nobel Prize.
Klimenko announced the nomination via his Telegram channel, citing Durov’s significant contributions as the primary reason for the accolade, Caliber.Az reports.
The nomination has garnered support from various universities and public organizations across Asia and Africa.
Klimenko also extended an invitation to Durov to speak at the Dubai BRICS Investment Forum. Should Durov remain under arrest in France, he will be given the option to participate remotely.
