Ukraine to get “Zuzana 2” howitzers from Slovakia

Ukraine and Slovakia have signed a contract for the supply of 8 units of “Zuzana 2” self-propelled howitzers.

The Slovak Defence Minister Jaroslav Nagy confirmed the deal on Twitter, according to Caliber.Az.

“I am glad to confirm that the contract for ‘Zuzana 2’ howitzers for Ukraine has been signed - eight pieces will be delivered to Ukraine,” he wrote.

In the meantime, Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová paid a visit to Ukraine, and on May 31 she visited Irpin and Borodianka towns destroyed by the Russian troops.

Deputy Head of the Office of Ukraine’s President Andriy Sibiga said that Čaputová also met with the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv.
