Western support for strikes on Crimea - Russophobia, spokesperson says
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova has said that the support for Kyiv’s strikes on Crimea is Russophobia.
She made the remarks commenting on the words of the adviser to the head of the Ukrainian president's office, Mykhaylo Podolyak, that partner countries support Kyiv in strikes on Crimea, Izvestia reports.
"This is not a secret. That's why we call such a policy Russophobia, and its Western ideologues - unfriendly regimes," the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
A reminder that Podolyak said that the partner countries had given Kyiv the go-ahead for strikes on Crimea. He noted that to date there is an absolute consensus, identical to the number of countries that support Ukraine, that Kyiv can destroy everything Russian in the occupied territory.
He also added that the number of "unidentified drones" that hit the Russian Federation will increase.
