The number of dead in the Gaza Strip as a result of fighting between Israel and the Palestinian movement Hamas has exceeded 30,000.
He noted that most of the dead are women and children, Caliber.Az reports, citing an X post of Director General of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
"The death toll in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 30,000, most of them women and children. More than 70,000 Palestinians have been injured. This terrible violence and suffering must end," the WHO head shared.
Ghebreyesus also emphasised the need for a ceasefire in the enclave.
