Western Azerbaijan Community accuses European Parliament of "endless hatred"against Azerbaijan
The Western Azerbaijan Community has issued a statement condemning the European Parliament's resolution, accusing it of displaying "endless hatred" towards Azerbaijan.
The statement referenced historical grievances, particularly the 1988 deportation of Western Azerbaijanis by Armenia, a situation that the European Parliament did not condemn at the time, Caliber.Az reports.
“Instead, the parliament allegedly supported the annexation of the former "Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast" to Armenia,” the statement notes.
The statement also criticized the European Parliament for expressing sympathy towards those responsible for atrocities in Azerbaijani regions such as Khojaly, Garadaghly, and Aghdaban.
The Western Azerbaijan Community argued that while circumstances may have changed, the European Parliament’s stance towards Azerbaijan has remained consistently hostile over the years.
