Azerbaijani NGOs appeal to commander of Russian peacekeepers

The Azerbaijani NGOs  working in the field of ecology have prepared a petition to Commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, Major General Andrei Volkov.

The petition was submitted to the Russian embassy in Azerbaijan on December 9, APA reports.

According to the petition, ecologists are greatly concerned about the deterioration of the environmental situation on the Azerbaijani territories, where the Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed.
