Azerbaijani Air Force personnel have participated in the “Anatolian Eagle – 2025” international tactical flight exercise, held at the 3rd Main Jet Base Command in Konya, Türkiye.
As part of the multinational drills, Azerbaijani pilots joined air crews from Türkiye, NATO, and several allied nations to carry out a series of complex missions designed to enhance combat readiness and interoperability, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry.
The exercise involved representatives from the air forces of Hungary, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United States and other partner countries.
Prior to the operational phase, all participants received briefings on safety protocols, operational routes, mission objectives and meteorological conditions. Following technical inspections and aircraft preparations, Azerbaijani pilots executed a range of sorties, including aerial reconnaissance, air superiority engagements, and precision strikes against simulated enemy targets.
In line with the exercise scenario, Azerbaijani pilots also conducted joint flights with their Turkish counterparts, carrying out coordinated air-to-air and air-to-ground missions.
The closing ceremony, held on July 4, commended the Azerbaijani contingent for their high level of professionalism and operational effectiveness displayed throughout the exercise.
The “Anatolian Eagle – 2025” drills aimed to strengthen regional defence cooperation, improve joint mission execution, and further develop tactical flying capabilities among the participating air forces.
