UN climate week to take place in Baku ahead of COP31

The fourth Climate Week of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will be held in Baku from September 7 to 11, 2026, hosted by Azerbaijan with organisational support from the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry press office, the Baku Climate Action Week 2026 (BCAW 2026) will also take place during the same period, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The events will focus on the practical implementation of climate-related decisions, strengthening international cooperation and accelerating climate action ahead of COP31.
