Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan hold talks on military cooperation
Staff from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence have discussed prospects for cooperation in the military sphere with their Uzbek counterparts, in line with the bilateral military cooperation plan approved for 2026.
The ministry said, during the meeting, the participants reviewed the current state of military cooperation between the two countries and discussed prospects for its further development, as well as matters of mutual interest, Caliber.Az reports.
The sides highlighted the contribution of regular meetings between the two defence ministries to strengthening cooperation and facilitating the exchange of experience between the Azerbaijani and Uzbek armed forces.
The participants also discussed a draft bilateral military cooperation plan between the Defence Ministries of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan for 2027.
