Azerbaijani serviceman injured in Armenian fire in Lachin

A serviceman of the Azerbaijani Army was injured around 16:00 on July 11 as Armenian armed forces fired from their positions located in the direction of Dyg settlement of the Gorus district to the opposite positions of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of the Lachin district.

"As a result of the shelling, a serviceman of the Azerbaijani army Abdullayev Huseyn Arif oglu was wounded,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the press service of the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

The ministry said that the wounded serviceman was immediately evacuated to a military medical institution, his life is not threatened.

“Our units are taking retaliatory measures," the report says.
