Separatists budge: Cargo to Khankandi to go through Aghdam
Garabagh separatist leader Araik Harutyunyan announced the opening of the Aghdam-Khankandi road at a meeting of the illegal "security council" on August 22.
Former "secretary of the security council" Samvel Babayan also participated in the session, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian "Zhokhovurd” newspaper.
The publication reports that the head of the illegal regime did not raise the issue for discussion, but presented it as a fact.
"Araik said that trade through this road will be partial, construction materials, diesel fuel, and medicine will go there, and food will be imported through Lachin through Russian peacekeepers, but this does not mean that the Lachin road will be fully operational, the movement of Garabagh residents will be restricted.
Also, according to the information, Harutyunyan said that at the next stage, it is planned to discuss the issue of gas and electricity supplies, which will also come from the Azerbaijani side," the newspaper said.
