The preparation is actively underway to celebrate December 31 — the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year's Eve in recently liberated Khankendi city.
Significant resources, including both labour and equipment, have been mobilized for the city's festive decoration, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Large-scale preparation is being carried out in Khankendi, as well as in Aghdara and Khojaly districts, which are under the administration of the special representative of the Azerbaijani president.
A New Year's tree has been erected in Victory Square, while the streets are adorned with festive attributes, colorful lighting, and decorative elements. Khankendi is welcoming guests in its holiday spirit, preparing to host tourists.
From December 26 to January 4, the city will hold its first-ever "Winter Fairytale" market, dedicated to the celebration of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year. On December 28, Khankendi will host a concert to further add to the festive atmosphere.
