Turkic News Alliance becomes regional platform for information exchange—official
The Alliance of Turkic News Agencies (ATNA) has become one of the leading platforms for regional cooperation, with initiatives discussed within the alliance being translated into practical projects, Adil Seifullin, Chairman of the Management Board of Qazcontent, President of the Alliance of Turkic News Agencies (ATNA), has said.
Speaking at a meeting of the ATNA Executive Committee held as part of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, Seifullin highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation among Turkic countries through closer media ties and information exchange, Caliber.Az reports per state media.
"The Turkic world is not only our common history, language, and culture, it is also a vast space based on trust, cooperation, and joint development. Today, the ATNA has become one of the key platforms for regional cooperation, actively transforming our vision into tangible project realities," he said.
Seifullin noted that Turkic peoples are connected by historical ties that stretch back thousands of years, while modern conditions are opening new opportunities for cooperation in areas including trade, transportation, science, education, and digital technologies.
He emphasized that the alliance's main priority is to give practical substance to this cooperation through joint efforts.
"The main task before us today is to enrich this cooperation with real content through joint efforts. We must strengthen information exchange in the media sphere, receive news about our countries directly from primary sources, and cover each event based on the information resources of the country where it takes place. This approach will increase the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of information," Seifullin said.
He stressed that closer cooperation among Turkic media organizations would contribute to improving the quality, credibility, and accessibility of information across the region.
