Azerbaijan's Shusha to host global media forum focused on peace, trust
The fourth Global Media Forum will be held in the Azerbaijani city of Shusha on July 13-14, the Media Development Agency said on July 10.
According to the agency, this year's forum will be held under the theme "The Mission of Media in Promoting Peace: Restoring Truth and Rebuilding Trust," Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The event will bring together around 160 media representatives, experts and government officials from 54 countries. Approximately 30 international news agencies, more than 60 leading media organisations, and representatives of around 10 international organisations and companies are expected to take part.
The programme includes panel discussions, one-on-one meetings and interactive sessions focusing on the role of media in peacebuilding, cross-border media dialogue and rebuilding public trust, international cooperation in combating disinformation, creating a safe information environment on digital platforms, and media ethics in the age of artificial intelligence, among other topics.
