Azerbaijan, Russia hail ties based on good neighbourliness, mutual understanding PHOTO

Speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Sahiba Gafarova has received a delegation led by Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.

The sides stressed that relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are based on good neighbourliness and mutual understanding; bilateral ties cover many spheres, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Azerbaijani parliament told Report.

Gafarova expressed condolences in connection with the terrorist attack that occurred in Russia.

The views on issues of mutual interest were exchanged at the meeting.
