Hungarian Prime Minister commends Azerbaijan for regional stability
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has praised Azerbaijan as a model for regional security and stability during a press briefing in Cernobbio.
Orban highlighted Azerbaijan's role in fostering peace and stability in its region, calling it "an excellent example" of effective regional security management, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
"Azerbaijan is also an example in terms of creating peace. It knows how to create stability in the region," Orban stated, emphasizing the country's significant contribution to maintaining regional equilibrium.
Orban also addressed the backlash he has faced over his recent visit to Moscow. The criticism has arisen amid the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
Orban defended his trip, asserting that dialogue is essential for resolving the war. He stressed the importance of communication as a means to end the conflict, underscoring his belief in the necessity of diplomatic engagement to achieve peace.
