MFA: Baku reaffirms support for One China policy, rejects Taiwan independence

Azerbaijan firmly supports the "One China" policy and does not recognize Taiwan's independence, Caliber.Az reports citing the statement by Aykhan Hajizada, head of the Foreign Ministry's press service.

This position, originally articulated in a Foreign Ministry statement on January 13, was reiterated in response to a media inquiry regarding Lai Ching-te assumption of office as head of Taiwan's administration following this year's elections.
