Russia monitoring Azerbaijan-Armenia border delimitation for regional stability - Spokesperson

"We are monitoring the beginning of the practical phase of work on delimiting the state border between Azerbaijan and Armenia. It is important for regional stability," stated Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova at a briefing, according to Report.

Zakharova emphasized Russia's support for resolving delimitation issues through political and diplomatic methods: “We proceed from the fact that agreements should be sustainable, balanced, mutually acceptable, and serve as the basis for achieving lasting peace in the region.”

She also confirmed Moscow's readiness to regularly provide advisory assistance to both parties on delimitation, based on trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
