Iran’s Supreme Leader congrats president-elect on election victory, urges national progress
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei met on July 6 Iranian President-elect Massoud Pezeshkian, who congratulated him on winning the presidential election runoff.
Khamenei expressed satisfaction with the increased voter turnout and urged Pezeshkian to leverage the nation's potential for progress and prosperity, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
He also offered advice and prayers for Pezeshkian's success. Additionally, Ayatollah Khamenei met with Pezeshkian's rival, Saeed Jalili, on the same day.
