EU suspends high-level meetings with Georgian leadership Amid concerns over unfriendly attitude
The European Union has announced the suspension of high-level meetings with the Georgian leadership, citing concerns over what it describes as an unfriendly attitude toward the EU.
EU Ambassador to Georgia Pawel Herczynski addressed the issue, stating that discussions among EU member states in June led to this decision, Caliber.Az reports citing Georgian media.
Herczynski emphasized the need to counter the anti-European and anti-Western narratives that have emerged, as well as the conspiracy theories that have been propagated.
"We have decided that we will not have any high-level meetings with the current Georgian leadership," the ambassador said, underscoring the EU's commitment to addressing these issues and fostering a more constructive dialogue in the future.
